THE FOURTH ANNUAL DINNER
Saturday 18th November 2000
|
The Fouth Annual Dinner was held at The Grasmere House Hotel, Salisbury. Some Squadron members intended to fly in to Old Sarum on Saturday morning for lunch and to 'play around' with aeroplanes, but disappointingly the weather was atrocious and no aircraft flew from Old Sarum that day. However the bar was open and the usual Old Sarum excellent lunch was available so the bad weather was quickly forgotten. The Principal Speaker at the dinner was Lt-Col. Paul Beaver, Army Air Corps journalist and broadcaster, who gave an informed independent view on the future of naval aviation. The following members and their guests attended:- Stanley Amis and Thelma Sorensen. Tony and Jill Ashmead. Leo Baker. Michael and Eve Bonham Cozens. Roger and Carol Bunbury. Nigel and Alison de Candole. Philip Cardew. Ron and Jan Dobrée-Carey. Nigel and Katherine Ducker and Peter Davis. John and Chris Eatwell. Colin and Val Ferbrache. Martin Holloway and Sue Donaldson. Maurice Hynett. Peter and Anne Lovegrove. Peter and Jan Manley. Bernard Maslin. Gregory Moor. Phil and Sue Moore. Tim and Fiona Nicholas. Dick and Mags Roberts. Michael and Charmian Ryan. Mike and Barbara Tidd. John and Kate Williams. Dennis White. Denis and Margaret Woodhams. |
