Friday saw nine members, friends and wives turning up at Arrow Mill to start off the weekend in the usual fashion. Denis and Margaret Woodhams were in residence and were joined by Phil and Sue Moore, Leo Baker, Mike and Carole French (Mersey Group) who all motored in ( Mike French in a superb example of an Austin Healy 3000). Mike and Mary Smith flew in a little later in a Robinson 44 and after a few rides to view the local heronry and general sight-seeing the helicopter was shut down and all made good use of the bar before enjoying a barbecue supper which ran fairly late into the night. Saturday dawned with good weather and further arrivals by car and aeroplane were welcomed at Bidford, Wellesbourne and Arrow. Arrivals at Bidford were :- Arrivals at Wellesbourne were :- Arrivals at Arrow were :- Sunday morning saw good weather again and after a hearty breakfast Denis Woodhams flew Michael and Eve Bonham Cozens over to Wellesbourne in the R44 as they had to leave early for another appointment. Further arrivals at Bidford were John Eatwell - Streak Shadow, Tony and Jill Ashmead - Pulsar and Hugh and Pamela Langrishe (Midlands Group) by car. A traditional Sunday lunch for over thirty members and guests took place at the Arrow Mill where we were joined by Lt. Col.
