BIDFORD / ARROW MILL HOTEL WEEKEND

Friday 9th June to Sunday 11th June 2000

The Arrow Mill Hotel & Restaurant

Friday saw nine members, friends and wives turning up at Arrow Mill to start off the weekend in the usual fashion. Denis and Margaret Woodhams were in residence and were joined by Phil and Sue Moore, Leo Baker, Mike and Carole French (Mersey Group) who all motored in ( Mike French in a superb example of an Austin Healy 3000).

Mike and Mary Smith flew in a little later in a Robinson 44 and after a few rides to view the local heronry and general sight-seeing the helicopter was shut down and all made good use of the bar before enjoying a barbecue supper which ran fairly late into the night.

Saturday dawned with good weather and further arrivals by car and aeroplane were welcomed at Bidford, Wellesbourne and Arrow.

Arrivals at Bidford were :-
